Review the return and exchange terms before ordering, particularly when trying an unfamiliar brand or a new silhouette. A lined skirt may fit differently from an unlined one, so check for information about the lining and its flexibility.
Consider the fit of both the outer skirt and the inner layer. If alterations are planned, ask whether both layers need adjustment to preserve the intended balance.
Look for an inner guard between the fastening and your skin. Ask whether the zipper opens from one end or both.
